SAP Waste & Recycling and Prologa Pure, now on SAP Learning Hub

SAP Learning Hub has published a new course: Introducing SAP Waste and Recycling. Its lesson gives an integrated process overview of SAP Waste & Recycling and Prologa Pure. It takes eight minutes, is set at beginner level and ends with a short quiz.

What the lesson covers

The lesson follows seven process steps. Regulatory requirements and auditability run through all of them.

- Contract management:
SAP SD-based contracts, agreed treatment processes and centralized pricing

- Order management:
Collection orders and container movements, with the required documents provided automatically

- Logistics planning:‍
Orders allocated to routes and resources, with automated route planning on SAP BTP

- Logistics execution:
Routes and order data on drivers' mobile devices, with confirmation in real time

- Goods receipt:
A digital weighbridge process, from inbound and outbound weighing to license plate recognition

- Confirmation:
Disposal orders, weighing notes and additional services, confirmed manually or automatically

- Billing:
Native integration with SAP Sales and Distribution, including cost split per route and index pricing

The lesson also  show material flows are tracked and documented, with integration to AVV, EWC and ADR.

Who it is for

The lesson is built for business users, consultants and architects. It is a practical starting point when new colleagues join a waste and recycling team, when a project team prepares an implementation, or when architects want to see how the process steps connect.

Waste and recycling operations run on handovers. When information arrives late at one step, follow-up work starts at the next.
